Bird shit val

all work and no blogging makes val a dull val…
cant help it. work pretty much takes up most of my time.. and usually when im home, after a couple mins of TV, its BEDTIME. ugh…

in short… i feel so lucky… lucky to have friends i love, (and love me),lucky 2 haf my family, and of cuz Al.. =) maybe i should just count my blessings… instead of being unsatisfied. haha…

today’s a great day. went shopping!!! al bought me Dandelion from Benefit, but since ive already got the clinique highlighter key bought me, i exchanged it for “some kind-a gorgeous” foundation faker! =) in addition, i bought “high beam”, and High brow! next up would be benetint! and and and… al bought me a dress from toss, and last week he got me a NUM bag!! ok. i know. i sound like a bi*ch, tt makes my bf buy n buy n buy stuff for me.. NO. its NOT the case. im sure he doesnt feel so either. haha…. guess he just dotes on me.. and for that, i truly am thankful for him.. not for the things he gets me duH .. but because of the fact that he is willing to share with me whatever he has….

after having a break at NYDC, i walked out, and *PIAK* a bird SHAT on my HEAD!!!! p/s: Shat = shit-ed. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to make things worst… i only had 1 sheet of tissue left,.. nvm…….. was kinda dark… when i went to the train station at somerset, i saw tt my top had some BIRD POO TOO!!!! OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so pissed!! hahaha… but it was really kinda hilarious.. with me shrieking away… :P… those who know me well enough knows that i HATE (aka am afraid) of birds…..

i know i just came back from my KL trip… but im needing another trip already… prolly 1 with my colleagues, and another lovey-dovey one with al !~ 🙂 one more nxt year when adel’s back too! hehehee…

1st pay treat.. For the girls..

Met up with prisc n key for dinner.
FINALLY got my does of girlie laughter! hahaa..
tho it was (as usual), listening to key’s very-fast-talk, and constant interuption. haha.. i gave my way overdue “1st pay” treat to the girls at wheelock fish n co.. was so full that i could hardly walk after that…

Key bought me stuff frm the vanity fair at NUS… SWeEeeeeettt…. MAC blusher, MAC lipglass, MAC eye palette, Clinique highlighter! So inlove with all of it.. next up… i need addition to my pathetic “benefit” collection…. im having my own personal SPree-er.. i.e. Key Chua! WhooHoOoo…

After the very very full dinner, prisc had to head back to her 2nd home, i.e. safari. =) she’d be THERE NO MORE!!!!! she has OFFICIALLY Quit!!! so if u intend to see “HorSie-prisc” (insider’s joke), go find her else where. Key n i went to jalan-jalan… started off with Tangs, where we didnt buy anything, and then we headed to Fareast. Total damage? 1 top, 2 necklace, 1 fake hair, 1 bag, and ALMOST 1 pair of shoe too!! hehee… i will STOP. Al was sweet enough 2 buy drinks, n hlp me carry my shopping bags, bicker with key chua, and walk around with the both of us! 🙂

KL trip’s this Thursday! im looking forward to the days of walking around without worrying about work. at least for afew days. work’s getting a lil stressful these days… been having trouble sleeping.. ugh.. toss n turn.. n officially get bout 3 odd hours of slp!? sigh….

to make things worst, i left my hp in the office on friday, and had 2 head back there today (sat) to get it…. ugh.. my phone’s my alarm, my clock, my lifesaver, my entertainment, my communication device. i canot b w/o it!!!

1st placement at work is underway… lets keep our finger’s crossed! its a love-hate relationship at work…. i only know 1 thing for now…. im getting stressed up with the neverending stuff to do.. at least i know im doing the right things these days… thank god.

Audrey: THe ex teacher… never fails to put me in perspective.. and she’s SO Funny laa.. joker by nature.. but subtle. hah.. She drinks perrier when we drink margaritas or beer.. hahahaa… ONE DAY, id just douse her with a lychee martini, n she’d b HOOKED!

Tracy: When she laughs, the whole world laughs with her, cuz they’d be laughing at her laughter… she’s one helluva funny girl! talks realli fast, like bullet train…!!!! i guess she’s the most EXPERIENCED among the newbies. 🙂 without her, it feels like we’re “Missing” something. haha

Jeff: the “beng”… he’s so damn bloody fierce… even to me that is! he’d answer calls with a “what!”? haha… typicall classical ah beng… but he’s nice. my Food buddy in the office… comparatively, i chat the MOST with him, cuz he sits diagonally opposite me! 🙂 . im constantly arguing with him.. but he always lets me have my ways! 😛

Brilliant mid week!

Praise the lord! today’s a great day!

i go to bed everynight with the same prayer, to pray that tomorrow would be a day where god would help me to be the best i can be! i walk to the mrt, with the believe that i can do all things through him that strengthens me…. i go to sleep at night thanking him for the otherwise un-eventful day (which i very much like)… maybe its because im young, maybe its because i believe, maybe its because im blessed…. but i seem to have the energy and drive to go on!!! $$ aside.. i truly am growing to love the job. its much more than an officie job now..

i feel the satisfaction when someone genuinely says “thank you”, and when you’re calling someone who happens to look out… 2 of my candidates are heading to the clients place nxt week for an interview..!! Pray that they get the job! maybe… just maybe… i could break my personal record of having a placement within such a short time… nevertheless, im already feeling the satisfaction. It isnt rocket science! its manageable… and with good help. i MAY actually make it…!!! it just takes alil more effort and hard work on my part, since im not in that line of job previously.

went for my 1st client meeting today. didnt do much talking. but it was an experience nevertheless. client was really nice. something unexpected, (and uncommon)… working on a couple more jobs, hopefully it bears fruits! i guess nothing’s smooth sailing all the time… its just how we manage things, how we take things in our stride, and how we look to him above. well, having the Heart n Effort to do things does play a part too… but i trust that my life is in good hands!

People always say that when things are good, no one looks to god. its only when things are on the down side, and at the pits, where people cry out for help… It use to be the case for me..now however, when something Good happens, or especially when something GREAT comes along, id be hell greatful! because its not by my own effort, but by his works! hey.. im a lil preachy today… but its truly how i feel…. not everyone would understand i guess…. (or are u already feeling that im a bore!?!?!? ) hahahahahaa… ehhh.. mmm…. just let me rattle k… if im boring u.. just dont read. dont complain that im too boring, n force me 2 password all my entries.. hhaaa..

miss my girl friends.. with work getting up 2 my neck, i feel like im neglecting them quite abit.. but im sure they’d understand! i make it a point to sms them n check on them too!! hehe..

Keychua’s still hor-mor-ing with her hamsters~ haha… she mentioned abt the upcoming vanity fair! reminds me of the time where the both of us went “shopping” when we were suposed to be studying!?!?!?!? we went kinda crazyy at the incredible Clinique prices… AND (im exposing key’s secret)… she dropped an eye palette!!!!! broke it, crack it, spoilt it, destroyed it!!! smart val was there thankfully, haha.. i put it back… n drag her away! WhEeee… u’re prolly gona say im dishonest.. but i swear it wasnt me. its KEY CHUA! hehe.. kidding my dear.. thanks for letting me noe bout the upcoming fair.. im counting on u for great steals.

had a fantabulous long chat with darling prisc earlier…. miss her heaps! use 2 b able 2 talk non-stop with her.. in class, lunch, etc.. now!? we hardly see each other.. makes me miss her so much more… with her upcoming interesting job, im just waiting 2 hear her bitch bout work~ hahaa. my work’s relatively bitch-free.. soo… im leaving the honours to her! heh..

Ive got a friday off! office renovation! Fwoaaahahahaaaa… what luck! 😀 not like its old n rundown, its perfectly fine! furniture all good working condition etc etc.. functionable, pretty.. pedestal lack of keys.. thats bout it.. oh well. whatever laa.. they wana renovate, they wana give us a day off, im all in for it! hehee.. Girls. lets meet up. i miss u guys.

Grad’s FINALLY over!!! which means ive officially erm.. graduated? scary thought. marks the end of my education. All that we worked so hard for, finally ends with getting a certificate. it feels like a certificate of participation tho… hahahaha maybe because i didnt pass with flying colors n stuff like that. maybe because i dont think ive “retained” much of it…. maybe its during the course of participating in the activities during our school days that we truly learn..

give me the weekends to post pics.. totally lazy. dont think id blog much even.. sigh… as much as wana blog, ive been procrastinating quite bit… Think i should start a new blog, http://www.overworked-underpaid.wordpress.com hahaha.. yeah! good idea. dont ANYONE dare to steal my soon to be blogaddress.!! maintaining 1 blog’s hard enough…. haha.

havent been havingmuch of a social life…. miss the girls… soon, prisc would “Lose” her social life as well! hahaa.. weekends would be preciouuusssss… hope work was good for her today… work was not too bad, “young” people has been fun… myself, audrey, patricia, kuan, jeff, tracy to name afew, went for farewell dinner with scott. within the short span of 1 mth plus, ive said good bye to 4 ppl… haha… hang in there val… hang in there…. life is good… you can do it! tracy had her 1st placement today!! wow!! she bought cakes n struddle for ppl in the office.. DEFINATELY a happy event! wonder when’s my 1st placement gonna be…

job’s starting to feel fulfilling, when i give people “advise”, and help them along the way rgd decisions and tough choices they may have to make. i guess increasingly, this would happen in the near future….. but im feeling the heat already. feel that there’s so many jobs 2 fill all of a sudden, and not enough good and suitable candidates, not enough time to do calling, do searches, do this do that… arghhhh… that explains why i stayed till bout 8 this evening.. sigh… i hope that i wont have to do that too often…. 8-8… i truly am overworked, underpaid… now that charlie n the rest have not much OT to work in the sunshine co…. im starting 2 think…… maybe working there isnt too bad an idea after all! haha.. NO! im never gonna step back!

did some exercise today… aimed to do 500 skipps… er… did 400 PLUS???? hahahaha… good attempt hoHhhhhh…. i will try and keep myself healthy. Skipping’s prolly the activity which cost the Least, and takes the Least time, and safest! why? cuz i bought the synthetic rope for 5.90, i take less than 15mins, and i skip outside my door house.. at the coridor! hahaha… only waste is that the clothes i wear, has 2 b washed after such a short time….. if only i could….. aaaahahhaa. nevermind hahaha..

Tomorrow’s another day of battle.. Lord, please help me to be the best i can be.
